The Womack Family Scholarship

Roland and Archienette Womack raised six children in the historic Acres Homes district of Houston, TX, all of whom graduated from Aldine ISD schools. To date, this lineage has produced three generations of Aldine ISD alumni. Among them is William Graves. William attended Carmichael Elementary, Wilson Intermediate, and Shotwell Middle Schools. Despite his family's move, his pride as a cougar, wildcat, and shark remained strong. Through this scholarship, William and the Womack family aim to give back to the Aldine ISD community and support students in their pursuit of higher education.​

Scholarship Qualifications

• Current senior enrolled in an Aldine ISD High School. Must submit a transcript.

• Minimum 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Must provide a transcript with unweighted GPA listed.

• Must be admitted to an accredited HBCU. Admission letter required.
