The Michelle Project turns 10!

To honor this milestone, we are hosting The Literacy Games. In line with our mission of education and literacy, kids who attend will participate in a series of games inspired by children's books. Families will receive books and a family fun pack. This fundraising event will be an afternoon of fun, food, music, friendly competition, and more. Don't miss it!

Ms. Shenita

Shenita Sneed is the Founder and Executive Director of Prodigy Community Development. With over 20 years of experience in youth development and community outreach, Shenita is passionate about equipping, empowering, and educating the next generation. She has created impactful programs that serve families throughout the Greater Houston area. Her mission is simple: to help build prodigies by discovering their potential, and giving them a safe space to explore their ideas and create new learning experiences.

Ms. Joyce

Ms. Joyce Brooks is a 5th grade teacher in Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. She strives to provide quality education for all students across all learning styles, while providing needed social and emotional support according to student needs.

That passion inspired her to create Ms. Brooks' SPED Shed— Where Every Student Can Succeed with the Right Tools. The SPED Shed is a growing warehouse of resources that provide support for all students both in general and special education for all subjects.
