Chamberlain Legacy Scholarship

The Chamberlain Legacy Scholarship was created in honor of our founder' paternal family, specifically her great grandparents. Edward Chamberlain was born on February 25, 1925 in Plumbranch, SC. Betty Ann Rodgers was a native of McCormick, SC on September 25, 1926. The union married and relocated to Far Rockaway, New York in 1942. Mr. Chamberlain had a knack for being handy. There was nothing he could not fix. Those talents allowed him to provide for his family, eventually purchasing a home. Affectionately known as Pop and Mama, they had seven children. Linda, Glen, Beulah, Steven, Patricia, Barbara, and George. The generations continue with a host of grands, great grands, and more. Pop was well known as a trusted and reliable handy man, working on countless homes and businesses. Mrs. Chamberlain became a respected caregiver to her lineage and numerous others.
Edward passed in 1995, followed by Betty Ann in 1999.

The Chamberlain Legacy Scholarship is an annual family funded award. It is designed for high school seniors who have decided to pursue a trade after graduation. Students who are interested in plumbing, HVAC, welding, mechanics, and similar industries, are encouraged to apply. These types of professions are necessary for the functionality of society. However, there isn't an adequate amount of financial support for training and education. The Chamberlains wish to help close that gap, while continuing the legacy of Mr. & Mrs. Chamberlain.
